This is the reason I picked up Civ IV: Colonization. I don't think the ideas there were realized as completely as I would have hoped, but they are there.

I used the same Fresh Prince lyric when I wrote GWJ's article (http://www.gamerswithjobs.com/node/44429) on AYIM last month. Great minds think alike! It certainly is a neat little game. I was more impressed by the fact that it's an indie platformer that *doesn't* employ an 8-bit art style...

There's a difficult balance to be struck here. On one hand, the "Chosen One" should be respected enough that folks don't send him on errands. Part of that involves keeping the game challenging so that it doesn't become boring. On the other hand, the Hero's strength should be such that...
