I think you should make the start of each paragraph different if possible. For example, you start two with "Sadly" and two with "Despite". It's not really wrong, and I do it sometimes myself, but I usually try to avoid it. Just my opinion.

Thanks. Like I said, I agree with your thought of the believing the series was always over hyped. I usually stick with those types of games as well (I'm not one for crazy amounts of violence, gore, etc.). This game is just so well designed though, which keeps you coming back for more.
