I mostly want to do this to have cleaner HDDs.
I don't need to re-install Windows 7.
So basically what I'm asking is if I move my files ( music, movies... ) from D: and put them on F:
and then just un-install my games from C: and re-install em on D: will I have any problems?
Then C: will...
D: drive has my stuff = movies, music, pictures and such
F: drive has all of my backups = iso backups of my game discs, program EXEs ( NOT any OS backups )
So I read online that it would be a good idea to install games to a separate partition or even better a separate HDD.
What's the best...
Ok, so I have 2 internal HDDs ( 2 x 250 = C: and D: ) and one external HDD ( 1 tb = F: )
C: drive has my OS (win 7) and all my installed programs and games
D: drive has my stuff = movies, music, pictures and such
F: drive has all of my backups = iso backups of my game discs, program EXEs (...
