I beat Devil May Cry 3 on normal difficulty. And I wasn't even playing the rebalanced Special Edition. The only reason i would mention this is because to many DMC3 is considered to be one of the hardest games ever.
Dante from Devil May Cry. He seems like the kind of guy who would just go on a date to get in your pants once then feed you some BS about a family reunion. (AKA a fight to the death with his brother)
The very first level in Devil May Cry 3 on Heaven or Hell difficulty. I used a cheat code after i beat the game and my file got corrupted and i lost all of my data. I thought it would be fun to try out some of the harder difficulties...it wasn't. On the plus side it made me into a tougher gamer.
My most common "Fuck This" moments happen when playing Tekken 3 or 5 when its on the EASY difficulty and I'm getting my ass handed to me by the computer! I don't think that there is a game that made me rage quit more often...
Good list but mine is pretty different.
-Tekken 5
-Tony Hawks American Wasteland
-Jak 3
-Ratchet and Clank Up Your Arsenal
-R&C Deadlocked
-Sly Copper 1
-Shinobi
-Kingdom Hearts
-Kingdom Hearts II
-Devil May Cry 3
These games are the reason I game today. I love 'em. ^-^
EDIT...
I think it all depends on the level of challenge in the game. For example in a game that's designed to be extremely difficult a health bar, in some ways, adds to the difficulty. However in a game that is made to be more forgiving, regenerating health is acceptable IMO.

Not only is this song awesome by itself, it's also the music to what is probably the ONLY good sewer level in any game ever.
The last game I beat was Ratchet And Clank Up Your Arsenal before that it was Kingdom Hearts. I also beat the arcade mode in Virtua Fighter 5 if that counts.
