Hmm. So a big game publishing company that I avoid at all cost has signed with a company whose games have never actually interested me to make cross platform titles? Oh yeah, thrilled.

Hilfuckingarious. What got me about this iteration of the game was that you have to switch weapons in order to switch spells, which was rough since I loved the Cestus, but hated the spell attached to it. This was definitely the easiest God of War yet...

Quite good. I thought I'd playthrough this game a few times, but the resourcing mining, along with realizing that most combat was pretty samey, prevented that.

It's alright with the mouse. I can't imagine doing it with a controller, yeesh. What it makes me miss, actually, is Star Control 2's mining system. You can actually see the elements, at least. I gave Mass Effect a miss, but I'm quite fond of ME 2... I notice some cues taken from Star Control 2...

Did anyone else notice this? The alien and the guy talking about receipts and stuff outside the warehouse on the Citadel sound a lot like the "Unskippable" guys.

It's silly to make a big deal, but it's also sad that gamer's aren't mature enough to not do this. it's pathetic, and you should really just feel sorry for the guy.

What really disappoints me about Yahtzee's observations is how absolute he is about them. Along comes a game that defies all the tropes of spoon feeding the player and no ramifications, a game that goes out of its way to never break character for any mechanics, and he finds one arbitrary notion...
