The only time I've felt bad about an enemies elimination was a quest in WoW where you have a peace loving Ogre by the name of Lunk who doesn't want you to kill Dark Iron Dwarves. So to knock them out he sits on them instead. If I was the Dwarf I'd rather die than have an Ogre sit on me.
