Like a fluffier looser Hollow Knight, in basic genre and system terms. But instead of bugs it's the power of paint. And you don't stab enemies to death with a pin, you...um, hit them very hard with a brush until their consciousness is painted over with DEATH. It's totally different and legal, k? Only foible is it has this common sort of weightless non-reactivity whenever the character model jumps making it feel like it's missing an integral tactile texture found among the peers. Is such a tiny issue that makes so much of a difference, being simultaneously instant yet omnipresent a part of interaction, unavoidable from beginning to end. Is like...only a single twist of a singular dial away from something greater.

Low poly-ish, low budget-ish tightly focused wall-running/chainsawing platforming/combat narrative journey that had the genius to come with drum n bass soundtrack. Looks and feels better than assumed, the weight and momentum is distinct while the low poly is kinda just various industrial textures, as character models are nice and rounded/animated. Haven't found enemies yet so have only attacked objects so far. I assure you however those objects had coming. Nonetheless, if a game gonna let me jump, tuck and roll into a slide everywhere, then I'm damn well gonna be jumping, tuck-roll slliding everywhere god damnit. Walking is a mug's game
