It does have a CMOS battery, so it's been quietly keeping track of time all along.is there some sort of internal clock in the console?
There's my pedant! But even after 13 years? That's love right there. Makes me somewhat sad for it that it's going back in the box and on the shelf AGAIN as soon as the PS5 gets here. PS3 knew what this was: a tryst, a fling based solely on exclusives that interested me then; when I get it's grandkid in here, it'll be the same thing. (I really don't deserve Sony's keeping my info after this long...)It does have a CMOS battery, so it's been quietly keeping track of time all along.
I'm sure it doesn't at all resent you for your abandonment

Oooooboy.. they got me. Just picked it up on Steam. I've had so much fun with this series to date, I don't think I'll regret this. I can't believe you completed it so fast! Hope you get a lot of replayability out of it. Or you have a huge library and no time for that sort of thing.Forza Horizon 6 is a good game, I finished it this morning. The game isn't hard but unlocking the final events is super tedious because you have to almost 100% every event and stunt, which is a grind.
I wrote previously how much I lost down sizing and it was humbling and educational. Like they say, don't let your possessions possess you. Like @CriticalGaming , I watch playroom videos with jealousy, only to remind myself that for me, this would be a transitory thing. Just, no room for everything I'd love to collect. Heh, thank goodness for digital stuff (like Forza Horizon 6 that I just got on Steam).I just moved out and brought all my old console and stuff (starting PS1) and its great to have them... except they take so much space with all the games! I got a closet literally full of them and don't have the place to display any of them(along with manga and gunpla). So I kinda get parent throwing them out, maybe one day housing will get cheap enough that I can get a place big enough to display them instead of max packing them in a closet.
The older I get I notice the less bs I want to deal with. The phrase, “Keep it simple, stupid” really starts to make more sense.Oooooboy.. they got me. Just picked it up on Steam. I got it on Friday cuz I got the super edition. So it took like four days to finish.I can't believe you completed it so fast!
I wonder what they plan to do next. Marathon was never going to be able to "replace" Destiny. I'd love to see them try something super different from an FPS, like what Respawn did with the Jedi games.
The next content drop for Destiny 2 will also be the last.
My guess is Bungie is going into life support because they've lost so much money for Sony that Sony can't be pleased. Marathon is doing shit, and I'm betting Sony doesn't want to keep spending money to support Destiny development.I wonder what they plan to do next. It's funny to think when Destiny came out, it was touted as an ambitious, 10 year project. 10 years later was two years ago; who still gives a fuck about Destiny? And that's coming from one of those who actually fed into the grind in that first year, convincing myself that doing literally the same tasks over and over again was entertaining. Even after coming to my senses, I downloaded Destiny 2 a couple of years ago just to see what changed, and the game starts out literally identical to Destiny 1!! Apparently the game eventually diverges into a different thing, but you're not about to sell me the shit I already own as new again. Bungie should have stuck with Halo; I think everyone'd be happier right now.

Possible layoffs at Bungie.

Well, considering how Marathon also isn't doing too hot last time I checked, this might very well be the last content from the studio itself.

it's always added quietly, you all ever notice?Unless Denuvo plugged the hole that has allowed every previous Denuvo game to be cracked, this seems a rather pointless decision![]()
007 First Light Quietly Adds Denuvo Before Launch - The Escapist
IO’s 007 First Light has quietly added Denuvo DRM ahead of launch, sparking backlash from Steam players over disclosure timing.www.escapistmagazine.com
Of course. They know full well Denuvo is deeply unpopular with pc gamers, enough that a minor but still significant segment would forgo purchasing any game using it. Better to sneak it in at the last moment, in hopes most folks don't notice until they can no longer cancel their preorder and/or get a refund. A tactic that probably works, otherwise they wouldn't keep doing it.it's always added quietly, you all ever notice?
