About that "disc version coming in the future".
Man they really can just do whatever they want now huh. Their communication with this game has been fucking awful and yet there doesn't seem to be any urgency with addressing it. And why would they? The article says that 70% people voted that they would drop 100 bucks on this anyway.About that "disc version coming in the future".

Just how many polygons are they jamming into Lucia's hair physics?I've been seeing reports that GTA will not run at 60FPS on ANY console including PS5 Pro. Which is just...fucking yikes.
I'm only taking it up the ass for FF7 games. Why not? They've been shown now that whatever they do, the only thing that might change is whether they use lube or not as customers bend over.
And just around the time when this bombshell dropped, this also happened a few days later![]()
Rockstar confirms there will be no disc version of GTA 6 at launch | VGC
Boxed copies of GTA 6 will contain a download code…www.videogameschronicle.com
Fuck you too, Rockstar.
I'm not buying the game anyway, but this might set a dangerous precedent for other companies.
This is basically how the PC gaming market started to go downhill twenty years ago. Fucking Steam codes inside boxes.
Being able to download a game should always be a convenience, not the default. Aside from poor independent developers.
A thought just occured;Just how many polygons are they jamming into Lucia's hair physics?
GTA V release on xbox 360 and PS3, IIRC, were also like this. It took an entire new generation of consoles to get the game running on 60 fps, and I remember the PS4 and XB1 release adding many more features.
.......Oh fuck, is that what they are scheming? Making people buy the game AGAIN?
That clip doesn’t appear to have anything to do with your post about crashing. What game are you referring to; still on SA? Rockstar didn’t have Euphoria until GTA IV IIRC, and it was downgraded in V because of aging hardware and adding too much memory-hogging crap to the game’s design.I forget about it, I become numb, but the lack of realistic crashes is pathetic. I crash at full speed into oncoming traffic and neither car flies "alley oop" over the other and gets shredded.
They just slide a few meters and spin. This is such an obvious feature in a game called GTA, and you would think Rockstar would have already exploited it with their physics engines.
That clip has everything to do with my post about crashing. If you crash into an oncoming car at full speed, one will likely shoot up into the air, and it might be an "alley oop." It might flip over and land on its roof facing the other car, like in the only car on car crash I was in. There should be lots of debris. I know when Euphoria started. It's well passed time they expanded their physics to spectacular crashes. That clip doesn’t appear to have anything to do with your post about crashing. What game are you referring to; still on SA? I got an ultra wide monitor two days ago and am now discovering how support is handled in different games while trying not to become one of the annoying ultra wide elitist complainers I talked crap about. RDR2 has ultra wide built in and the cutscenes are in a 21:9 ratio, but the idiot designers kept the black bars at the top and bottom as if played on a widescreen TV. Black bars used to differentiate between gameplay and cutscenes has been a staple of video games forever, but I really don't think it's necessary in most cases.

"I'd kinda like to remove the side borders with cinematic mode, but with cutscenes I get why they're there. Like with a lot of scripted stuff, there's probably things you're not supposed to see past the camera. Haven't used the FOV mod, so not sure if this is definitely the case or not."
Things you're not supposed to see? No, fool, the cutscenes are already in ultra wide. The person after him recommends a mod that removes the pillar boxes and letterboxes, but that's not a fix. That just creates more of a fish eye effect where the subjects are in the center and surrounded by vast empty space.

Don't like the game and its cutscenes anyway, but had to say it.
When I turned off the subtitles in GTA III, I noticed that there is a widescreen option. In the PS2 version. I could have played Vice City and San Andreas in widescreen too. Though, my laptop is 16:10, so I didn't lose too much picture. Anyway, I checked what they did in terms of aspect ratio in the cutscenes in Vice City and San Andreas. Haven't yet in III. In Vice City (screenshots 1 and 2), the top and bottom are cut off. But you know what impressed me? San Andreas does exactly what I have been saying GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 should have done and what GTA VI should do for 21:9 monitors. The letterboxes of the 16:9 San Andreas cutscenes are removed and the picture is maximized onto the 16:9 display, preserving the original aspect ratio of the cutscenes for seamless transition between gameplay and cutscene. Rockstar just needs to do that again for the 21:9 cutscenes of their new games.Have to admit that this shot is picturesque. So why the hell didn't they zoom in on the 21:9 picture until the black borders disappeared and my 21:9 screen was filled, as an option?
