Life-size Lego bench built in memory of boy

A life-size Lego bench has been built in memory of a 12-year-old boy who died from cancer in 2020.

The bench has been unveiled at St Martin's Primary School, Guernsey, where Matthew Girard attended.

More than 11,000 pre-loved Lego bricks were donated by the community for the project.

His family said he loved Lego, and Matthew's mum, Sarah, added: "It is just going to be unique and hopefully a lasting tribute."

It's my birthday today, and I am picking up Avatar Legends at 12pm.

The date for physical got pushed back to October 28th of this year. The digital version is still available, but I am gonna wait a little until the kinds get ironed out.

Happy birthday. Hope you have a good one.
Happy birthday!
Thank you all.

Update on Avatar Legends: for whatever reason, all of the GameStop locations have pushed the release date of the physical to Monday on the 28th. Even the employees and management don't know why. Sucks, but I am not going to let it ruin my day.

New update the physical version's been delayed till late october of this year. So it's either digital, but I might just wait until the game gets fully ironed out, and then get tge digital release.

Late to the party, but Happy Birthday!

Don't know if you would like/want it, but my standard b-day gift has been a bottle of mead.
Thank you. I have not heard from you in forever. You doing okay?

Not much of an alcohol person, aside from Smirnoff ICE and the occasional wine at formal events. I never had mead.

I got money to eat at Japanese restaurant earlier today. I ate large and still have some left overs.

I did order an RG476H that comes in tomorrow. It plays Gamecube and PS2 games. I am so ready right now.

I've been doing fine. I just tend to lurk rather than post. Quite often because Asita, Sylvanus or Agema say what I would like to long before I could get it typed up and because they are far more eloquent and level-headed than I.

On the "It Makes Me Smile", I've been taken off the immunotherapy drugs and the doctor has taken a wait-and-see-what-happens with my MRI/CT scans. So far, things have been clear (or at least no muddier than before).
