I think someone called it during his saga: the very bottom line in his helmet's visor expresses his current state. Cory is very good at working the angels of a panel so that it can look like Gunny is frowning, smiling, or being flat/as-a-matter-of-fact.

That's what I thought. Since there's normally no reflection to be seen in his visor, I could have sworn that the brown "fog" around Erin's reflection is a little splat of spew which provided the contrast necessary for a reflection to appear.

Are we allowed to notice that between panels, Erin appears to switch the hand she's using to hold the chopsticks? Unless my brain is wrong and/or no-one cares. The way it was drawn definitely looks better for the image layout, though.

Eight days? Unless I misread that, most foods that were open for eight days unless sealed tend to leave people either having serious bathroom problems or cause them to throw up, if not worse. How does Erin enjoy that?

Probably like Iocane Powder, you take your time eating small doses of it to build up resistance. And over time, eating so much of it, you find you actually kind of enjoy it and even miss it when you don't have any.

OT: Erin's a walking pile of self-loathing to the degree that it makes NIN's "The Downward Spiral" sound cheerful, so of course she would enjoy something that would eventually kill her. Smoking WHILE eating rotten leftovers is going to accelerate that.
