Fable 2 Digital Release On The Way?

Fable mastermind Peter Molyneux has hinted at a full digital release for Fable 2 [http://www.lionhead.com/fable2/Default.aspx] over Xbox Live.

"I think it would be a great thing for this studio to work on," Molyneux told GamesIndustry.biz [http://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/molyneux-hints-at-fable-ii-digital-release]. Pressed for more details, he remarked that "I can't say anything else on it - I would be killed to death." Yeesh.

With publishers finding themslves increasingly Burnout Paradise [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/87370-Epic-President-Dumps-On-Used-Games-Piracy][/I], but Microsoft has yet to jump into the deep end of the digital download pool.

The success of the original Fable as a download over Live's Xbox Originals [http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/games/catalog.aspx?d=5] service may come as encouragement to Lionhead and Microsoft.

"It did really, really well," Molyneux said. "It was one of the highest selling, if not the highest selling, Xbox Originals titles. I didn't track that exactly, but I know a lot of people got very excited about it when it came out."

And this is exactly the reason that you can never deliver what you promise Mr Molyneux. With an attitude like that.
You're basing your belief that it's the best selling Xbox Original on the fact that you know some people that were excited by the news. WTF? That doesn't make any sense! Maybe the fact that you mostly lurk about in within the community at the Lionhead forums is the reason that you know lots of people that were excited by such news?
Maybe if you headed over to Ninja Gaiden forums, you'd find a lot more people who were excited to hear that Ninja Gaiden: Black was being released as an Xbox original... seriously Peter.....

Peter Molyneux lives in La-la Land. You can't really believe anything he says anymore. I learned that when Black and White 2 came out for the PC.
