GTA V Resets Its Trailer Schedule Post-Sandy

You'll have to wait till November 14th for your next GTA V teaser.

Grand Theft Auto V has been a long time coming, and in a world without hurricanes [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/120468-Hurricane-Sandy-Delays-New-GTA-V-Trailer] we'd have had the next trailer by now. Rockstar has been kind enough to confirm that, now it's had a chance to take stock post-Sandy, the trailer's due November 14th.

You may remember the last trailer, [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/113982-Trailer-Proves-Grand-Theft-Auto-V-Set-in-Los-Santos] which started internet tongues a-wagging. We still don't know who the protagonist is, or what he does for a living, or even what gang-related gun-fun will occupy his time in the sun-soaked pseudo-Californian pesthole he moved to. Nor do we have a confirmed release date, beyond Spring 2013.

However that is a nice looking dog this fella has there. Cheerful, even; no doubt it's good with kids. A dog like that you could imagine chasing Frisbees in the park, or bringing down a fleeing hobo. Just the sort of animal you could imagine fitting right into the GTA V universe.

Funny thing is every Rottweiler I've known has been a big sweet baby. They just look like small bears so they scare the hell out of everybody.

Surely the larger implication of 'man with dog' art is - animals in GTA? That is, besides curiously stationary pigeons.

Rockstar have done it before in Red Dead and Ubisoft managed it in AC3 so why not GTA? Given that that is instalment will also take in a large amount of rural California it only makes sense that it would be populated. Anyone remember San Andreas' ghostly forests?

Problem I see is that people will eventually get around to seeing what a rocket laucnher does to said animals and eventually PETA will hear about it. I don't remember them making a big fuss about Skyrim where you could lite deer on fire and raise their corpses as undead warriors for you but with GTA being every crusaders punching bag you could bet they would be labeling it a "animal crulety simulator" in same way some people labeled Bully a "Columbine Simulator"

cant say im that bothered about a delay for a trailer to an overhyped games series that will no doubt look awesome but once we finally get the game will end up another borefest like the last one(seriously i play gta games to dick about not to pretend i care about some annoying npc's who constantly call me up for no damn reason).

You clearly never saw Lupi.

She was an overly aggressive Rottweiler that eventually had to be put down.

If you say GTA 4 was boring then your not a true GTA fan. I still play GTA 4 all the time no one has really noticed but its an extremely good realistic game. @broken-serenity if you think its gonna be boring and old with GTA 4 then leave cause I dont care about your opinion.

They are known to be particularly friendly dogs, especially with kids. The problem is that since they are Big F***** Dogs, some people will train them to be aggressive, giving the whole breed a bad name.

It's so realistic that Niko has the turning circle of truck, just like real humans!

I actually kind of liked that aspect. It felt like you were controlling a real human being that can stub his toe on a table or trip over bad stairs, not a 100% precise ghost robot. The only non-Rockstar game that gave me that feeling was Dishonored.
