Android Gamers Get a Hot Humble Bundle

Crayon Physics Deluxe, Sword and Sworcery EP and more make their Android debut in the new Humble Bundle for Android 4.

Some Humble Bundles are better than others, and this one, in my humble opinion, is definitely on the "better" side of the coin. The Humble Bundle for Android 4 includes Crayon Physics Deluxe, Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP, Splice, Eufloria and Waking Mars, which is currently up for voting on Steam Greenlight [http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=92975821]. Most of these games have been around for awhile but they're new to the Android platform and if you don't happen to have them they're well worth picking up.

Gamers who pay more than the average price, currently sitting at a little under $6, will also get the aged-but-still-brilliant Machinarium as part of the deal, and all six games (or five if you're cheap) come with an official soundtrack. And it's okay if you don't want to play on your mobile: Windows, Mac and Linux versions of every game in the bundle are also included.

As usual with the Humble Bundle, it's a pay-what-you-want deal with money going to Child's Play, the EFF, developers and the Humble Bundle folks in whatever portions you deem appropriate, and while all games are available DRM-free, if you pay more than $1 you'll also get Steam keys for everything. It's a heck of a deal, even if you don't happen to have an Android device.

The Humble Bundle for Android 4 [http://www.humblebundle.com/] is live now and will be available until November 22.

This month is turning out to be an expensive one for me so I'm only doing $10 right now and hopefully if I have a good amount spare later I'll put a bit more down.

Machinarium, a three year old game, is "aged"? Really? :|

Weirds me out, man.
Max Payne 3 came out last May and people already consider it old. WoW by these standards is archaic.

Instantly bought it when reading the title. Didn't even read the article. Humble bundles are always great it seems.

Indie games age faster than others because the high saturation of the indie market combined with the usually lower-tech used on indie games means that most indie games become irrelevant within a fairly short period of time. Plus the lower price means that most people who are interested pick them up fairly quickly.

It's also aged in the since that Machinarium has been in about three humble bundles so far.

Well this kinda sucks. Just got a iPhone from my job, so I won't be getting an android device in the near future :\ If only they could give you keys to the App store (if that even exists).

I jumped all over this! And none of them are compatible with my tablet... WTF! And I check on my phone, unknown compatibility. You can hardly call it an Android bundle if nothing runs on my Android devices.

If the charity they're donating to doesn't include the homophobic cuntfucks at the American Red Cross, then I'm all for it. I may be all for saving lives, but if they're going to ban homosexuals from donating blood, then they can go kindly fuck themselves, bundle and all.
That is not even the worst thing about those chickenfuckers at the red cross. When they collect money for a cause, less than 1% goes to the actual cause and it all goes to pay people. It's fuckin' ridiculous.

Which version of android do you have on your devices? I think it needs to be 4.0 and higher. Or so I hope, I have the 4.1 and plan on buying the thing

I have 4.1. It wasn't installing them through Humble Bundle app, so I just downloaed the binaries and did a manual install. I didn't get to test out all of them, but they work. It's just an odd thing, that whole compatibility check on there.
