All Four Aliens: Colonial Marines DLC Packs Due By August

There's more Xenomorphs on the way, but they mostly come at night... mostly.

Have you already beaten Aliens: Colonial Marines? You may find that question silly, given that the game just came out today, but it turns out the game can actually be completed in just one 6-hour sitting. So if you picked the game up this morning and bested it by now, you'll (maybe) be happy to hear that all four of the game's planned DLC add-ons will be released by the end of August.

As reported earlier, the first of the packs is scheduled for a March release. It's titled "Bug Hunt" and will add a co-op Horde-style mode where players face off against ever-increasing waves of enemies. The content of the remaining DLC add-ons has not yet been revealed.

:/ AvP 2010 had a survivor mode built in. A damn good one if I would say so myself. Just played it minutes before this post and it was fun. Difficult but fun. Wish I had more people to play with it. Never did get to play it in full 4 player co-op.

Back on topic... This is just bad. I mean it's already horrible but it will make it worse if it's paid.

Don't think anyone I know will bother with this really, judging from the hate they've been posting to me. I'm slightly glad I stayed in work for some overtime and missed my chance to buy this now.

One of my mates text me before saying they should change the Alien motto to "In space, no one can hear you yawn".

I'm suprised the devs just didn't say "F**K it" and let the game die now like they did with Warfighter (haven't heard of any DLC for that bomb coming out). I have a hard time finding the time/money to buy DLC for games I loved like Borderlands 2,Skyrim, Orcs Must Die 2,ect... I can't even imagine buying DLC for bad games

So soon ? really ? ffs i was holding off buying this game till i saw some reviews. I had some great times on my 56k modem and the old AvP that was GREAT. Stranded map anyone . But these DLC's so soon stinks of shit that should have been in the dam game to start with. And the reviews confirms this as to how shitty and not 100% finished feel.

Pfff. First AvP was better. Jesus Christ that game was terrifying. And it didn't need shiny graphics to achieve that. Remember Skirmish mode?

Loved that game, I mostly prefered the Marine and Pred levels since the weapons were just so fun to use especially against human targets who just stood there and died instead of hiding like the aliens. I must have played through those giant hanging labs (forget the name) at least 30 times for both the marine and pred.

Really loved it. When someone mentions "aliens" or "predator", then AvP2 is the first thing that comes to mind. I was pretty young when i first played it, and it scared the crap out of me, without even showing any enemies, for quite some time! That movement detection thingy always had me on the edge... But it was damn fun. Especially as a predator.

Also, multiplayer was damn fun, especially playing with friends and freaking them out as an alien. Good times indeed.

Also, I've been playing it for a weeks. It's bland at best. And dumb at worst. You can start a team deathmatch offline on the 360 but you can't do it splitscreen :S .... so you are in a room by yourself. Brilliant.

Maybe that`s the game the ACTUALLY should have delivered but for some reason I totally doubt that.

Yes, AvP 2 was short but intense, AvP 2010 was pretty decent.
How can a anyone tank a fail proof concept like this. I mean, everything is clearly laid out in detail already?
