This Humble Bundle is Double Fine

The Humble Double Fine Bundle offers Psychonauts, Brutal Legend, the Broken Age Kickstarter and more, plus the tastiest promo trailer ever, delivered by Tim Schafer himself.

If you're a fan of Double Fine Productions or even just suspect that you might be, you're going to want to put some eyes on the new Humble Bundle. This time around it's the Humble Double Fine Bundle, and as is right and proper, it leads off with the classic action-adventure game Psychonauts, a coming-of-age tale about a young boy's fateful trip to summer camp. Also on the menu: the less-famous-but-ever-so-yummy Halloween RPG Costume Quest and Stacking, a fresh and unique adventure in which you stack with other dolls to change your abilities and solve puzzles.

All three games can be had for any price you want to pay - that's right, if you've got a nickel to throw at Tim Schafer, you've got three games. But there's more! Paying more than the average will also net you a copy of Brutal Legend, the heavy metal RTS that recently came out for the PC (and that will set you back 20 bucks if you buy it through less humble channels [http://store.steampowered.com/app/225260/]). And for $35, you can get in on Broken Age, Double Fine's Kickstarter Project, as a "slacker backer." Brutal Legend and Psychonauts also come with soundtracks - Psychonauts actually has two!

As usual, you can divvie your green up between the developers - Double Fine in this case - Child's Play, the Electronic Frontier Foundation and the good Humble Bundle folks who make it all happen. It's a heck of a deal, and it's good for you too! And how can you say no to that trailer? You can taste the value!

The Humble Double Fine Bundle [http://www.humblebundle.com/] is available now and runs until May 21.

in a side note more keys for the steam gods,

seriously my steam profile is bloody huge thanks to the humble bundle i dont know if i should thank them or hate them, its just so depressing seeing games that you dont have time to play on your list.

Yea, tell me about it. [http://steamdb.info/calculator/?player=Agayek¤cy=us]

Edit: On topic, I really can't tell if the awkwardness in the video is them not being terribly good on camera, or if it's trying to replicate the same feeling from late-night infomercials.

Either way, it succeeds at the latter beautifully, but they may have done it too well.

Had Steam for about 3 days now, got 6 games installed and spent around... £3.17.
I'm very happy so far! Just hope my new laptop can keep up...

If I hadn't got Brutal Legend on steam like, a week ago, I'd be straight on this.
But I did. So whoops.

If I didn't already own all of the things that can be attained for the amount of money I have to spend this week (about $10) then I'd be all over that.

BUt I have them all already. Sorry Tim ): you can't has my money now. But I will get your next game when it's out.

I already have Stacking, Brutal Legend and Costume Quest for the PS3, but I have to admit this would be a pretty sweet deal. I loved how purposefully stilted this "infomercial" was. Didn't know Tim Shafer could be such an awesome horrible actor.

Mad looking-to-the-side-of-the-camera skills, there. XD

I think I'll wait a bit until that average drops a bit more (yeah, I am that cheap), probably around 5$. Brutal Legend is cool and all but it drags on for a bit and the gameplay is less then great. I honestly only plan on getting this because of Psychonauts but it would be nice to have the entire collection (dont care much for Broken Age)

It's intentional for sure, Schafer's always seemed pretty comfortable goofing around on camera [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k2tW5qugdoM] and has only gotten more so whilst Two Player have been there for the Kickstarter [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qs_KO4_Dvy4], documentary and Amnesia Fortnight [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTl2V3EDJik]

Wait, a bundle from Double Fine?

Fucking. Sold.

So, do I just throw my money at the monitor, or how do we do this?

I would love to get this. The only game I have from it is Psychonauts (can the extra copy be given as a gift?). But the problem for me is the payment methods... Damn.
