Exclusive Batman: Arkham Origins Content Detailed for PS3

PS3 players will get exclusive access to skins and gameplay maps in the Knightfall content pack.

While Batman: Arkham Origins should be pretty much the same game on both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, PS3 players will still find themselves privy to some content their 360 counterparts will miss out on. While the PS3 version had previously been confirmed to have exclusive skins, it's now been revealed that it will receive a special Knightfall pack that will include three extra combat maps and two predator maps in addition to the Adam West and Knightfall Bat-suits promised earlier this year.

In keeping with the Knightfall theme, the combat and predator maps will apparently be tailored toward combat with Bane, who did some <a href=http://www.voxboxcomics.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/dark-knight-rises-bane-breaking-batman-back.jpg>not-so-nice things to Batman over the course of the Knightfall storyline. According to the announcement, the Knightfall pack will drop players "in a crime-ridden Gotham City, where Bane's forces have seized control of several key locations where only Batman can stop them."

The announcement also included a new trailer highlighting the exclusive skins in action. Suffice it to say both look pretty good. Granted, the Knightfall costume pretty much embodies all the worst excesses of 1990s comics, and the Adam West suit doesn't "bam" "wham" or" "biff" when you punch thugs, but we're still excited to take both Bat-suits for a spin. We will, of course, have the <a href=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VSaDPc1Cs5U>Batman theme blasting while using the Adam West suit.

Arkham City bonus skins were all ugly and I never used them. These don't look any better either. I don't understand why these developers can't make a skin that's at least just as good as the default one. And I never payed any attention to the challenge maps. So as a PC gamer I don't feel like I'm missing out. We still get tricked out graphics with PhysX which has awesome fog effects if you have the hardware good enough to run it. And of course higher resolution textures. PC gaming spoiled my taste for textures.

Two questions:

1: Is the 360 version getting anything exclusive or is it basically going to be like playing as The Joker in Arkham Asylum: PS3 only and 360 gets jack squat?

2: Does the Adam West costume come with Shark Repellant and the ability to

Is it sad that I'm really disappointed that I won't be able to have that Azrael skin?

...Yeah, probably. But still, damn that thing sexy as all hell.

Hell, the Adam West one would probably be epic too. Playing through an Arkham game's freeform combat and dark take on Gotham as a Batman with chalk-drawn eyebrows? Yes please.

Plus we don't have to use GFWL this time around which is awesome.

The Kinghtfall skin looks kinda cool. Never been a fan of challenge maps.

I'm sorry but the knightfall skin reminds me of Captain Zurg from Toy Story 2.
