Monaco October Update: Back-Story Plus Zombies Equals Yikes
Plus there's a Steam sale, but you'd better hurry if you want it.
Monaco: What's Yours Is Mine just got a little fancier, with its free October update. Play through the back-stories of your intrepid thieves, facing off against new enemies and sneaky traps. But if you want something more in keeping with the season, tackle the entire game all over again in Zombie mode! Wretches and Bloaters want to get their chompers on your tasty cerveau, and you needn't worry that this will vanish at the same time Halloween does. It's permanent, Andy Schatz confirms.
Were you sitting on the fence waiting for a sale before getting into Monaco? Then get thee to Steam [http://store.steampowered.com/app/113020/], where it's 60% off. You can get the game for $5.99 - $17.99 if you want to buy the four-pack - but if you want it, better hurry. The Steam deal's only good for the next 24 hours. There's even a neat little timer clock there, ticking away. Tick. Tick. Tick.
Monaco, for those not already familiar, is an indie heist-em-up in which you lead your team of specialists across the map, collecting loot as you go. It can be played co-op, if you like anarchic madness, or single player. Will you use stealth and guile to get through without alerting a single guard, or will you bully your way across the map in one spectacular smash-and-grab? Just don't get caught, or it's back to prison you go. Or maybe you'll end up in a Wretch's belly this time. Updates can be like that.
