Rookie mistake. The reason most stealth game guards do not investigate suspicious sounds is because they know actually investigating will more than likely get them killed. The same reason why they all claim to have eyesight problems with anything over ten feet away.

It suddenly occurs to me that I would absolutely read a webcomic about a mook who tries to make it through each workday with tricks like that. :)

Rad seems to be too obvious. I'd wager there's something else behind the air vent.
Free hugs!

That healer's eyes just get bigger and bigger with every new strip. Two much cuteness!

And to a guy like that, every box is "just a box". And I want to read that strip now!

And he's perfected the art of falling down "unconscious" at the slightest tap. :)

And he always has the quickest way out of any base mapped out on the off chance that his boss is load bearing.

To him that light that just went off in the next room is a signal to just keep on walking :p

True!
Not because good AI is hard to program (and no fun for most gamers)... ;)

Anyway, either Not-Cloud kills him easily, or -more likely- tis just an underpaid cleaner/rat/Roomba.

It would be a tricky balance between not seeing anything, but at the same time having a patrol pattern that makes it so that they're not super easy to grab from behind.

It's a...a...ass to the face. Rad should go into MMA with his knockout abilities, besides nobody sees a butt to the face coming.

I've always heard that the hardest thing isn't programming the AI to hit the player, but programming it to NOT hit the player. They could easily make it so that the AI knows where you are at all times and always hits you with perfect accuracy, but that wouldn't be fun to play.

How does not Zack/Cloud draw his sword without making an impromptu haircut? These are the kind of things I want to know.

Or is his hair a myth?
