Avengers: Age of Ultron Concept Art Gives First Look at Scarlet Witch

Recently released concept art shows of potential scenes from Age of Ultron including a Hulkbuster bout between Iron and Hulk.

With Marvel Films and Disney staying largely mum when it comes to details about The Avengers: Age of Ultron, fans of the company's film universe have understandably been eager to see and learn more about the movie. That being the case, recent concept art released by Marvel and ABC may be just the ticket fans have been looking for.

The art, which depicts several characters and potential scenes from the film, contains the first official looks the studio has provided of its versions of Aaron Taylor-Johnson's Quicksilver. Olson's Scarlet Witch looks as though she'll (understandably) be forgoing her character's costume <a href=http://collider.com/wp-content/uploads/the-avengers-scarlet-witch.jpg>from the comics, while Johnson's Quicksilver looks about as speedy as you'd expect.

The remainder of the art depicts what appears to be a lab sequence, some cityscape destruction with Black Widow and Hulk in the foreground and, perhaps most excitingly, a battle between Hulk and Iron Man wearing what looks to be <a href=http://ironmanarmory.com/hulkbusterarmor.html>Hulkbuster armor. Considering that Iron Man and Hulk frequently stole the spotlight in The Avengers, you can count us as being hopeful that this fight sequence actually makes it into Age of Ultron. Granted, it's not like Disney and Marvel have ever demonstrated any sort of aversion to <a href=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y1g-B8BJzwc>climactic character bouts, but we're still going to keep our fingers crossed just in case.

So what do you guys think? Do these first glimpses sell you on Age of Ultron? Does it look to you like Marvel will be doing justice to Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver? Basically, we're curious to see what you take away from these brief glimpses into the developing film.

That fifth image is made out of lens flair. I'm actually kind of impressed by it but damn, that's ridiculous. The Iron Man/ Hulk Buster suit looks freaking awesome though but between Hawkeye, Falcon in Cap 2, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver here...I can't help but wonder where their costumes went. Maybe eventually they'll start using their comics colors. I'm not saying they look bad of course I just want the movie to look more comic-book like.

I've seen a lot of people pissed off about Scarlet Witch's costume here.

I much prefer this to just about anything at all that they could think of. I think she looks absolutely bad ass.

Quicksilver is... Well... Bland. But so was his costume in the comics too, so.

I'm so stoked on this movie though. Will we be seeing QS and SW in anything prior to the film? Are they some of the Netflix exclusive shows?

I actually think Quicksilver looks VERY much like his comic version, minus the white lightning stripe (and white horn hair). Hulkbuster of course looks great.

I'm pleasantly surprised by how much I like Scarlet Witch (definitely an Ultimate Marvel influence... I do want the headpiece though).

I'm sort of reminded of this:

Very interested to see how they handle Ultron.

I think there was a rumour circulating that they would be in the post-credits thing for Guardians of the Galaxy, not sure if it has been squashed or confirmed though so it could be bullshit.

And this Quicksilver looks way better than the X-Men: Days of Future Past one, not that it is hard to beat.

To be perfectly honest, most of their costumes would look god awful on an actual person. Though I think Quicksilver's here isn't that bad.

Picture 5 brought to you by J.J. Abrams.

Yeah, I know it's an obvious joke, but if I didn't say it, someone else would.

I'd be down for that for sure. And maybe a one-shot in between too. I think that'd be the perfect amount of intro for them before AoU.

I have to say, they did quite well with Scarlet Witch, her costume is nowhere near the ridiculous comic outfit, and yet they seem to have captured her essence rather well. That said i would still prefer the X-Men unlimited version, trenchcoat and studs for the win.

Is that Hulk fighting the Hulkbuster suit? I guess it was inevitable after it appeared in Iron Man 3.

The concept art looks interesting. Can't really offer any other opinions than that.

the first official looks the studio has provided of its versions of Elizabeth Olson's Scarlet Witch
It's Olsen. How is that entertainment family name not known by everyone at this point? The Olsen twins? Elizabeth is their sister.

I'm just hoping they don't mess up Ultron.

I'm worrying that they'll ruin him and give him a human looking face or something so he can properly emote, like Optimus Prime in the Transformers films.

They're basically perfect, aside from Quicksilver needing white hair.

Thank the gods they got rid of Scarlet Witch's abomination of a costume. Especially the stupid head...thing.
she looks like a badass now.

I'd prefer the Tron-style Quicksilver because it's badass as all hell(which CLEARLY Marvel/Disney knows how to do), but a fairly classic version is cool too. Also, holy crap does it look better than Fox's "Days Of Future Past" garbage.

No worries. Iron Man has gone through 4 movies with an Iron Man faceplate on half the time. Marvel knows what they're doing, and they've already given a rendition of an Ultron head in their Comic-Con teaser.

I'm so glad they changed Scarlet Witch's costume. Seriously, I don't care how ridiculously bad ass I am, no one's going to take me seriously if I show up for battle in Board shorts or swimming trunks. So why are all the women in One Piece swimsuits?

However, I am getting a serious Phoenix vibe from the new costume. It's a little distracting.
