Track Game of Thrones Characters' Paths with this Interactive Map

You can map the movements of various Game of Thrones characters while keeping your eyes free from spoilers.

Epic stories like George R. R. Martin's Game of Thrones take place over continents with various characters traveling from one place to the next. A skilled fan has mapped the journeys of Game of Thrones characters and presented the information in the style of an interactive map. [http://quartermaester.info/]

The map's creator, Wiki of Ice and Fire [http://www.sermountaingoat.co.uk/] wikia site.

Those fearing spoilers will be able to control where each character's path stops in relation to a timeline of the story. Select the chapter or episode you're up to date on, and you won't see where that character is (and whether they're dead or alive) past that point.

theMountainGoat created a speculative world map based on a Westeros map a member of the Cartographer's Guild made and another speculative map including Essos, Sothoryos, Ibben, and the Summer Isles drawn by others. Using this information, theMountainGoat updated their map and used images from Google Earth and a stock photo. The scale of the map is based on the length of the Wall as the books state it is 300 miles long. theMountainGoat also notes that the maps drawn in the books are not drawn to scale as Martin prefers the maps to follow the style of medieval cartography.

theMountainGoat specifies that this map is not considered a part of the canon work and is largely speculative. Regardless, it's an impressive amount of work.

Now that is neat.

Completely worthless and with no reason to exist unless you are gonna roleplay a Westeros knight.. With a smartphone.

But still very, very neat.

Don't mess around with the timeline if you only watch the show, a few friends of mine already spoilered an important character appearing later on. :)

This is so cool. I'm bookmarking this because It's so easy to get lost as to where the characters are in relation to each other.

Now, to figure out who is the most travelled out of all the main characters...

My guess is Tyrion.

This is exactly what I needed. I have been having issues with this, and now I never will again!

Very cool, and it works for the books and TV series.
I have not checked the accuracy for all characters and their travels and their correlation to the chapters, but I am damned impressed. I remember seeing something similar (but more crude) for The Wheel of Time

Damn, Dany sure is getting some good mileage on that horse of hers.

The map is pretty neat though. I tend to get a bit lost in the immediate setting and kinda forget just how much travelling that's going on behind the scenes of both the show and books.

there is a button for "Episodes" that will allow you to follow the TV show instead.
