Welcome to Tomodachi Life, by far the best way to pervert a game developer's honest intentions and exploit a text-to-speech feature
Nah, to be fair, that honour goes to Moonbase Alpha:

Oh NASA, you beautiful precious souls. What on Earth, well moon, were you thinking.

Hmm... the game intrigues me, but I'm also interested in buying "Animal Crossing - New Leaf". Is there anyone of you who has played both games and can give me a recommendation? Thanks!

... Any possibility in getting a Jim Sterling Tomodachi Life QR code? Or maybe the escapist crew in general? I'd be down to collect!

Game's cool for relaxing, imo. I guess it has the charm of animal crossing, but you largely spectate, and there's no apparent pressure in having to keep up with the island.
Not tired just yet, and I'm not even adding perverted stuff in... yet... possibly... anywho...

This is pretty much exactly what I said to my friend when he showed me this. He was so sure that the randomness alone would hold it. I was unconvinced. If it was sold for £10-£15 I'd get it, but it goes for £30. I'm not willing to pay that for something I'm probably only going to get 5 hours out of.

If I do though, I'm making you in my game Jim. Definitely.

Judging by this review, and having played Animal Crossing for over 100 hours total before getting really sick of it and selling it, go for Animal Crossing. There's a great deal of content, and each day can be interesting with little events. But, you must set a goal for yourself.

Like me, you'll have fun with it, then start doing the same old 1 hour routine before closing it. It's at that point that you need to do something to pass the time and extend your enjoyment. Maybe work towards a specific set of furniture, or use clothing tiles that you can lay on the ground to make it look like your town has concrete paths, and build things like benches or light posts around that concept, giving your town a specific "feel" of sorts (Which I did, and it was awesome. I recommend it for the fact that running on grass too much wears it down to dirt and must re-grow slowly. But placing these tiles down won't wreck the grass, so you can run to your heart's content!)

Seeing new things appear in Animal Crossing is a joy too. New villagers, new shops, new items at the store, and the like. Each day has something different, albeit minor, that can help boost your enjoyment if you like this kind of game. Hope this helped!

why would you make a game that's all about randomness and surprise
and then just make pre-scripted events that repeat over and over??? xD

like oh wow that was sooo zany and out of the blue how that guy's face came off his face

again

that's like what 50 times now???

but yeah game looks cute :3
