Game of Thrones Sort of Recaped in this 2-Minute Video

Could you recap all of Game of Thrones in just two minutes? Probably not, but neither can this guy.

The world of Westeros is complicated, which means you may be tempted to try to recap it in order to explain things to friends and loved ones who have yet to fall under George R. R. Martin's thrall. We advise resisting that temptation. Beyond just having a lot to cover, the twisted plot lines probably mean you'll wind up stumbling over your own words while your audience's eyes grow increasingly glazed.

(That is if YouTube channels could be people, and for the case of this metaphor we're going to say they can.) This video's attempts to cover the major plot points of Game of Thrones go about as well as you'd expect. (Read: we can't recommend this for anyone who actually wants to get caught up on Game of Thrones. Get HBO Go instead!)

I've already tried (and failed miserably) to summarize GoT to my cousin and my mom, at least my cousin got interested, but my mom was like "... wtf are you smoking?".

I basically told them that it's the middle ages and there's a lot of family houses and they go to war, but there's also dragons and ice zombies (though they both appear for seconds at a time for each season). So yeah, recapping the Lord of The Rings movies* is easier than Game of Thrones :/

[small]*Yes, I know the Lotr movies themselves are already recapped version of the books, so please don't quote me on "how Peter Jackson ripped appart Tolkien's immaculate works", because I reaaaaaally don't care.[/small]

I feel like, in another timeline, this was how GoT was pitched to become an actual show before HBO stopped them by asking "Are there going to be tits in this show?"

But, in all seriousness, I probably could not recap ASOFAI even if my life depended on it... and, even if it didn't, I would just ask to change the book series to either Gaudians of Ga'Hoole or Remnants, probably... (and I think the latter turns into a kid's version of The Cube...)
