Shazam, Aquaman and Wonder Woman Movie Domains Registered

Studio now owns domains for long-rumored comic book adaptations

While Warner Bros owns the rights to just about every important character (and also most of the unimportant ones) in the DC Comics Universe, they don't automatically own every internet domain name related to them. Those you have to actively seek out and register, and that's what they've just done for four (hypothetical) DC movie adaptations - three of which had not been previously announced.

While this doesn't necessarily mean that announcements of these films being in production are imminent, none are exactly coming out of nowhere: swirled for months. Shazam and Wonder Woman could be good. Aquaman I doubt would get a fair shake given the stigma around him, ether way, I've no faith in DC/WB to actually MAKE these the good movies they could be. Not as along as they keep up eith the 'comic book movies ashamed of being from comic books' thing they've been going with.

A gritty Aquaman might actually be what the character needs. If they really play up his savagery and his desire to keep his people safe at all costs. The fight scene in this where he'd be facing off with Black Manta and gig fishes the villain in the chest while riding a freaking shark in the middle of a hurricane to a heavy metal soundtrack makes me shed a tear just thinking about it. Aquaman is not your friend. Aquaman commands the sea, he doesn't ask of it help.

I just hope they get the A listers out of the way quickly.
