With that in mind, here's the new trailer for the film; which catches us up to speed on the premise and debuts new elements like urban (as opposed to arena/forest) warfare, a fully-armed resistance, Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) supposedly gone to the dark side and Jennifer Lawrence's Katniss leveling up to explosive-tipped arrows.
The film is based on the first half of the third and final book in the Hunger Games trilogy. The story is set to conclude in Part II, due out one year later in 2015.
