The only two I like on there are the PPG and AT.

I REALLY loved that PPG episode when they 'split up' and each went full on DC-Wannabe mode.

No "Sheep in a city"? For shame! Still, good, interesting list.

Also, out of recent CN stuff, Steven Universe is pure gold. Such a lovely, smart show.

According to the creators, Venture Bros. is supposed to be the desolate remnants of the 50's dreams of the future, how things just didn't end up working out that way. Also its a nod to the Johnny Quest series on what the life of a grown up boy-adventurer, who's super-scientist father basically put him in tons of dangerous situations without seeming to care very much, would be like. And it does feature a grown up Johnny (now a drug addict). Quite possibly one of the smartest shows to come out of Adult Swim, and my all-time favorite grown up cartoon.
I just hate having to wait years between seasons.

I'm sorry, but I must vehemently disagree on Tom Goes to the Mayor. Managing to get "talented"[footnote]And I use this term very loosely for most of them.[/footnote] celebrities to star on the show doesn't negate how fucking abysmal everything else is. I'd certainly not recommend it as a general "must watch" for just anyone.

Other than that, it's a fantastic list. Easily some of the best shows Cartoon Network has every produced.

Some I'd consider adding:
Rick and Morty
Frisky Dingo
Sealab 2021
Squidbillies
Ed, Edd, & Eddy
Dexter's Lab
Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends
Samurai Jack

I could probably go on. Even their newer stuff is fairly fantastic. Gumball, Steven Universe. Just a wealth of shows for people of differing ages.

This is, without a doubt, the single most terrible list I've seen done on here. Half of the list isn't even Cartoon Network proper, just Adult Swim which is separe from it.

Where's Steven Universe? Johnny Bravo? The Loony Tunes Show? Dexters Lab? Courage The Cowardly Dog? I mean god, you missed an easy one by not tossing in Ed Edd and Eddy. That's six right there, can I have this job now? Here's a few easy extras too - Samurai Jack and Batman: Brave and the Bold, since you seemed to want to toss in long dead and no longer aired shows.

And if you want to even touch adult swims line up, then get that garbage Tim and Eric crap out. You included the only mediocre piece of work they've ever done, good job. You skipped over Rick and Morty, Sealab 2021 (one of Adult Swims ORIGINALS, back when they had the whole pool theme), even Space Ghost Coast to Coast. And where the bloody hell is Super Jail? I want to keep going here, but honestly? It feels like I'm picking on a kid at this point, and that isn't fun for anyone.

Heck, I'd of had "Level Up!" In there before I'd even let Tim Goes to the Mayor anywhere near the top 20.

Let's see here:

#1- I really like this one, especially in how the characters grow and change over time.
#2- I like this show... though I should probably watch it more...
#3- Eh, it's okay. Not a favorite of mine, but it's not bad.
#4- (See #3)
#5- (Again, see #3)
#6- Still enjoy this show, even after all these years.
#7- Never saw it, nor do I want to.
#8- Awesome show, really should watch more of it.

Does it count if it's on Adult Swim? I'd say so, but that's just me...

Has it really been more than a decade than Venture Bros started? Damn, time really flies.

I feel old now.

The lack of:

Samurai Jack
Ed, Edd, n' Eddy
Dexter's Lab
Courage the Cowardly Dog

[just to name some shows not of the original Adult Swim lineup] disturbs me...

But, hey... PowerPuff Girls... and Regular Show and Adventure Time? Those last two are really stretching the whole "nostalgia" angle of this list, I think... At least they make me smile... and I'm getting Season 4 of Adventure Time on Blu-Ray next week!

probably shouldnt have counted Adult Swim shows. same channel, but basically a different entity, given the content.

anyway, it is really hard to choose just 8. Ed, Edd n Eddy, Dexter's Laboratory, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Samurai Jack, Chowder, The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, Teen Titans, Young Justice, Camp Lazlo, The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, Megas XLR, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Codename: Kids Next Door, Johnny Bravo, etc.

theyve had some incredible shows.

I've gotta agree with other comments.....this is the worst list of "Best" of CN I've ever seen.....the newer shows I still do not understand how they gained such interest, most of the older ones listed were that wacky brand of stupid that needed to die out before it became the thing to copy.......and way too many adult swim shows on there.........just....wow...
