You know, It is my opinion that Singapore is Dubai done right.
Or more accurately Dubai is Singapore minus rational people.

Also Sentosa is alot more than that building in the picture. It a 5 square kilometer island, which has been a theme park since the 70s
They just spruced it up recently.

Fun Fact, the island was renamed to Sentosa in 1972, before that it was called Pulau Belakang Mati.
Which means "The Island of DEATH FROM BEHIND" in Malay.
Think of that if you ever visit.

Singapore is rapidly becoming amazing, the momentum behind Dubai stalled but the development in Singapore seems to be just getting started.

So, 8 of the most expensive buildings of the 21st century. Because I can think of much more expensive buildings from earlier centuries... Versailles, for instance - the silver alone would probably surpass the cost of several buildings on this list.
