Pokemon Goes Blocky In Cute LEGO Ideas Set

One LEGO builder created a set where Pokemon and their trainers visit a Pokemon Center.

Many of the coolest Pokemon [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/tag/view/lego] Center LEGO set on LEGO Ideas with impeccable detail.

Titled "Pikachu's Pokemon Center Visit," the compact set has five minifigures of Ash, Misty, Brock, Nurse Joy, and Professor Oak, as well as the following five Pokemon: Pikachu, Squirtle, Charmander, Bulbasaur, and Eevee.

Our heroes have traveled to Kalos City where some much needed rest and relaxation is in store for this group's Pokémon. Stopping at the local Pokémon Center the team bumps into the knowledgeable Professor Oak. He reminds the friends to always be kind to their Pokémon if they hope to see them evolve someday. After stocking up on essential potions, pokeballs and updating their Pokedex, this band of adventurers are off once again in the pursuit of more gym badges!

LEGO builders who share set designs on LEGO Ideas have one year to get 10,000 supporters. Then the LEGO review board will evaluate projects and select which ones become LEGO products to be sold online and in stores. If LEGO determines the project meets high standards for playability, safety, fit within the LEGO brand, and whether LEGO can secure license agreements, the project can become an official product where the creator earns royalties.

Savath_Bunny's Pokemon Center set excels in recreating the more modern Pokemon Centers found in games, and Savath_Bunny was creative in turning the LEGO pieces into recognizable Pokemon.

Savath_Bunny has also recreated Pokemon battles in LEGO form. More pictures of the LEGO builds are on Flickr. [https://www.flickr.com/photos/101193079@N05/sets/72157648813407675/]

That's pretty cool, although I think having a single mold for the small pokemon would be better, 'cause Pikachu ain't lookin' too good.

Plus I would think this full concept would be great to sell, although Misty and Brock would alienate some kids since they haven't been Ash's companions in ages and only old fans know them I think.

Sir, I think I just came up with a way to print MORE money.

Well Done Jhonson, well done.

Seriously though, that's pretty sweet.

I could see Lego Pokemon being a thing, a big thing. Yet, I feel like it would be a hard sell to make to Gamefreak and Nintendo.

Still, why are they almost all characters not found in Kalos? I know Misty and Brock are well known, but it wouldn't make sense to have them in a new set. Also, a set that takes place in Kalos, without Kalos Pokemon? Gamefreak probably would rather promote some of their newer Pokemon.
