The Movie I am most excited for is Kung Fu Panda 3! How will they top Gary Oldman's performance as Lord Shen? Can They?

I still want a Master and Commander 2... god that movie was awesome and without a sequel the ending serves nothing except to piss me right the fuck off. Thanks for reminding me that damn movie existed.

I'm not going to see the new Terminator purely because they can't spell genesis properly. Other than that these all sound pretty good, Jupiter Ascending will either be awesome or hilariously bad.

The only one I'm really looking forward to is Jupiter Ascending, because it's some prime sci-fantasy instead of grimderp camerashake like we've been getting for the past few years. Aside from that, I'd only go see the new Terminator if I felt like getting out of the house, and I'm really on the fence about the new Star Wars. I got burned so damn hard by the prequels.

Dammit! I forgot all about Kung Fu Panda 3!

And, I'm sure they will find a way... and most of us would go "I should have seen that coming, but I didn't somehow...", I think...

Apart from Inside Out, nothing this year is really grabbing my interest. I'll see Star Wars just because I've absorbed enough of the attitudes on that franchise to be curious, but there's nothing I'm sitting here dying to see.

I'll mention one not on Bob's list: Samurai Cop 2. The original movie is honestly pretty bad, but I love it so much.

I will admit, I did not hate Terminator: Salvation. I was hoping they would stretch out the future war story more until they get to the time machine. On another note, what you said about Tomorrowland either being Disney's Atlas Shrugged or Bioshock? Genius.

The Incredible Hulk was already shit, so there's no worry of it being the first. There's a reason Iron Man, Captain America and Thor all get multiple sequels, while Hulk just had the actor replaced. Review scores in the low 60s, and box office less than double its budget which means it almost certainly lost money. I'll be very surprised if Marvel manage anything worse than that this year.

I have to disagree with you, while Hulk definitely wasn't "good" it wasn't anywhere near "shit" I can think of plenty of much worse comic book movies, and Hulk is definitely watchable, even if it is definitely the worst marvel movie so far.

I liked Incredible Hulk, and thought Norton was a better Banner than Ruffalo. I think Iron Man 2 and both Thors are the closest Marvel has come to missteps, and with Thor 2 in particular, it was damn close.

I was actually very pleasantly surprised by the Thor movies, as I was not expecting much from them. The only misstep in the first one, in my opinion, was how quickly Thor got humble, or whatever term you want to apply. If he'd been on Earth for a few months or so, I might have bought it. Seeing as how it appeared to be just a few days, he went through too much of a personality shift too quickly. And I enjoyed the second Thor movie too.

I personally feel that Iron Man 2 has been the worst of the Marvel franchise (unless you go back to the Eric Bana Hulk movie). It was still fun, but weak overall. Though I think I would like Ruffalo better than Norton as Hulk if he actually had a full movie to flesh out his portrayal, rather than all the screen sharing he had to do in The Avengers, and I'm sure he was a hell of a lot easier to work with considering all I have heard of Norton.
