Tales From The Borderlands Episode 2 Release Date Announced

The second episode of Telltale's Tales From the Borderlands adventure game comes out on March 17.

with very short notice [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/tag/view/tales%20from%20the%20borderlands]. For the second episode in the series, Gearbox has just revealed at PAX East that the game will launch this month, on the week beginning March 17.

The second episode, Atlas Mugged, was revealed to feature series mainstay Scooter at PAX South, and the developer also mentioned Handsome Jack himself will have a larger role.

Gearbox also dropped some regular Borderlands info in its presentation. Namely, the next Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel DLC: Claptastic Voyage will launch March 24 in North America and March 27 internationally and will be available to players who purchased the season pass. Additionally, in a somewhat bizarre crossover, you'll be able to dance as Borderlands character's in an upcoming DLC pack for Dance Central.

Hell. It's about time.

May actually need to replay Zer0 Sum before ep 2, it's been such a long time.

Oh Telltale, how I miss when you could promise a monthly, or 2 monthly schedule and stick to it. :(

This is why I no longer buy Telltale games until the whole series is out.

Kinda sucks they waited five months to release episode. They did get two episodes of Game of Thrones out though so gotta give them some credit there. Hopefully they do what they did with Wolf Among Us and Walking Dead and release them every other month. Borderlands in March and then Game of Thrones in April.

i so do wish you'd stop working on 15 games at the same time telltale, it's just hurting your efficiency.

Am I the only person who enjoys Tales more than Game of Thrones so far?

Glad to hear the next episode finally has a release date. Hopefully they can get into a bit more of a release rhythm going forward.

On either the Podquisition or the Co-Optional podcast (I listened to them too close together to remember which) they say the same thing in that they preferred Tales and were disappointed it was taking so long for ep.2.

Personally I'm pretty pleased, because it means they're one step closer to having a full release which I'll actually pick up!

Really interested in this...but waiting for episodes sounds like a pain.

I've bought the Walking Deads, after they were finished, and really couldn't imagine a several month long wait in between them. o_O

I actually really like the short notice telltale gives. It makes a nice change from games being announced years before they go on sale.

Can't wait for this to come out of Early Access in a year or so, along with Game of Thrones (face it, it might as well say "Early Access"). Though I am mostly holding out hope for another Wolf Among Us game...

Again. This is why I refuse to buy until all the episodes are out. Waits this long are absurd.

Hmm...sounds interesting. I've been meaning to check out Episode 1 - looks like this could be a good time.

I take it the DLC will be about going inside Claptrap?

Looks like an edit might be necessary for that trailing "".

I enjoyed episode 1 of TFTB far more that I had expected. I'm looking forward to seeing what they'll come up with for the next one.

(And... how am I going to end up using that bullet...?)

I tried the episodic thing with TWD season 2 and hated it. I'll be buying these when they're done.

Took them long enough! I've only been waiting for ever! The first episode was amazing, funny, and action-packed. I hated having to wait so long.
