Pour a beer for our homie Abe! He is a marvellous fellow, playing the remaster of Oddworld lately, the humour still holds up in a Mr Bean Alien Edition sort of way.Katherine Kerensky said:Abe gets none.
And the sad thing is that I love Abe. I've even been playing New & Tasty of late.Katherine Kerensky said:None of the Oddworld games are on the list?
This saddens me greatly in a way I didn't know I could be saddened. Mario gets two places, Abe gets none.
The only reason I included SM64 was the way it redrew the landscape of platformers in a 3D world. It felt important enough to be in there.Ukomba said:As good as both SMB 3 and SM 64 are, I would have avoided doubling up on the same franchise.
Hipster for picking something different, pfffft. Mate, it's usually the weird/extreme ones that are the best.rembrandtqeinstein said:Going to go hipster here....the correct answer is Skullmonkeys
Watch this boss fight, listen to the soundtrack and try not to be totally weirded out

To be fair, the platforming in Conker isn't great, and that's putting it nicely. Conker breaks his shins if he falls higher than a couple of feet, and a few other control issues that time hasn't treated well. I love CBFD, but it's definitely remembered more for the comedy and set pieces than for it's gameplay.Squilookle said:Not a bad list overall, but Conker's Bad Fur Day is better than anything with Ratchet and Clank on the cover and you all know it.
