I've only played capture the flag in paintball, not video games. I can totally see some of the guys I played paintball with sacrificing each other without hesitation.

I was never one to be sacrificed myself, though. I always got taken out too early by enemy snipers. -_-

Hang on, that's not their flag; it clearly says "USNC" and is white with an eagle motif, while it was established back in strip 15 that the flag is red, says "NSUC" and has a fire-breathing dragon on it.

In other words: It's a "stalemate", let's not jinx it, and Round 2 will start later instead of right now...

I think I'm giving Gunner a bit too much credit with this evaluation...

Gunny reminds me of the grunts who appeared in the first seasons of Red vs Blue

EDIT: http://rvb.wikia.com/wiki/Grunt

Yeah, Erin is really bad at games, and this game is really advanced considering they have a "Capture enemy" feature instead of just a Standard "Shoot to kill", but it's clear that 'Gunny' is a bit too 'goal oriented' (AKA, he's a Jerk). Hopefully Rad will save the day.

Pffft, the flying teabag-butt-bomb ALWAYS has the element of surprise!

And thus, a friendship was broken, Gunny...
Hope he doesn't go TOO rabid on your ass for that remark ;)

At this point, i'm surprised Rad hasn't dissed Gunny for how little he cares about Erin.

If I served under someone who had no respect for my comrades / friends / family, it's time to question your loyalties.
Speaking of loyalty, it could be that Erin defected in exchange for more drugs. She didn't seem all that committed to her side's goals anyway.

Do you realize that Rad is a figment of Erin's imagination as well as a projection of her own psyche? Her own self-worth is very little, so would she really care of a equally imaginary Gunny points out how unimportant she is?

Pfft I'm with Gunny, although not because the flag is important just because Erin isn't worth the effort of saving. It's not real anyway.

But how will they win the war without her apathetically sitting under a tree? Rad NEEDS to save her so she can go back to refusing to play the game.

Why can't either side just make another flag? It's only a rag on a stick. . .

Playing the objective is being a jerk now?

Better tell everyone playing CS:GO that we should just play Deathmatch instead of planting the bombs.

Still holding on to my statement of the last strip that Erin has actually switched sides.
The handcuffs are just a way to lure out, at least Rad.

Playing the objective and NOTHING else, even ignoring teammates in need of support - yes, that's being a jerk.
Playing the objective but ignoring it at times to do other things that may seem less important is not.
