Its not an opera, its a musical. The whole thing about an opera is that the singers don't need amplifiers. Opera singers take years of training to to fill the hall without any aides and that's part of the magic. The Who have a lot to answer for. Shakes fist at Pete Townsen.

Good point, however a "[a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rock_opera"]Rock Opera[/a]" isn't really an Opera or a Musical. The distinction is that the music for this show needs to be rock, and not the typical musical pop sound. But I appreciate the clarification.
