That officer went directly for the head shot. He wasn't even trying to just stop Gunny, he wanted to straight up kill him !

I dunno, given all the other engineering it wouldn't surprise me to find out Gunny has redundant brains. I don't think Officer Stuperior really thought he had any prospect of seriously harming Gunny, just trying to stop him/slow him up a bit.

The sight of all those Guardsmen clinging to him was much funnier than it really should have been...

Now then I kind of want to see Civ or something. Watching Gunny trying to out belligerent Civ Ghandi would be hilarious.

This is probably the most representative strip of Halo campaign gameplay I've seen. A dude in 1000-pound armour walking unimpeded right through those who are trying to stop him.
It reminds me of Matt Ward's ultrasmurf fanfiction more than it does Halo... Only with less pauldrons and "SPIRITUAL LIEGE!" than that... Still amusing though.

Captcha: gothic arch. Well then... I see Captcha is also waiting for Battlefleet Gothic...

I'd like to see more games where the protagonist headbutts bullets back at their adversaries.

I take it Gunny entered this world because he wants to play Cooking Mama?

IS it technically assault on Gunny's part? It's not his fault (that i can see) that the superior officer's shot ricocheted off of Gunny's face and into the superior officer's shin.

I love how the sergeant was literally just in Gunny's way and he just ended up shooting himself.

I thought you could do that in Killer 7, since one of the alternate personalities is a luchador who can head-butt bullets shot at him. That is, if I correctly remember what Yahtzee said, which is no simple feat.

I say bring Erin, Rad, and Gunny into a JRPG, and have them really feel out of place, and joke about what the f*&$ is going on around them.

Gunny has unlocked the most powerful weapon of all: empathy.

In his defense, that officer was standing his ground...

OT: In other words, Gunny was innocent the whole time... But, due to the narrative, he actually guilty?

I feel like I could related to this situation... :p

Well, that gives me another reason to dust off the old game cube.

JRPG would be pretty cool. With main protagonist Clod Stiff and his overcompensating sword. Dress him up as a girl and force him to do embarrassing mini games.

Alternatively, another sort of western open world fantasy RPG, like Skyrim, could work well. Although you're right, a JRPG would have more material. Depends on target audience... I guess us?

Okay, so his superior officer looks like an SS general for the Nazis. Are we really going to question his disobeying of orders from THAT individual?

I found the second "Theft of military property" part funny because I thought he was taking the soldiers with him, but then I realised I was dumb, because he was taking the flag with him.

I like the soldiers better :3

That's not what the officer's going to say. His report will be that he was brutally assaulted in the course of duty.

He probably thought the face mask was the weakest part of the armor and that a bullet at point blank range was his best bet.
