Disney Releases Spoof Movie Posters for Upcoming Zootopia

//cdn.themis-media.com/media/global/images/library/deriv/1017/1017133.jpg

Disney Animation has released a set of spoof movie posters for its upcoming film Zootopia, set for release on March 4. Some of them are pretty good.

Another Disney Animation is hurtling toward us on March 4 of next year, and the Disney hype machine is in full swing. To get people excited about Zootopia, the Mouse House has put together a bunch of "promotions" as a countdown to its "Zoo Year's Eve" [http://disneyzootopiamovie.tumblr.com/]. First it was the top singles of 2015 - with such hits as Cowvin Ferris's "Cow Deep is Your Love" and Madeline Preynor's "All About that Chase."

Now, we have the top Movies of 2015, complete with a set of six movie posters with destined-to-be-classics such as "Star Wars: The Furce Awakens" and "Fifty Shades of Prey". Unfortunately, there isn't a poster for "Avengers: Age of Bulltron" or "Pitch Purrfect 2," but the others are pretty good on their own.

In coming days, Disney will also unveil the top Travel Destinations of 2015, as well as the top Entertainers of 2015. We'll let you start guessing on what will get the best animalistic play on words out of those categories.

In the meantime, check out the posters:

And if you have no clue what Zootopia is, then check out the official teaser and "Sloth" trailer below:

What's 3 and 6 posters are referring to?

I admit the film is starting to warm up on me (I mean the last two Disney animated films has been good).

The third seems to be the film's proper poster; the sixth seems to be a reference to this Ex Machina poster [http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQe8L-1PTMlUf-si2Oy6BTd9ZtbWH7BSRSF5k5JGNATxOHzyIdg].

3 seems to be one of the normal posters for the film, it's been up at my local cinema for a few weeks. 6 is one of the Ex Machina posters, although the Yak is in a considerably less suggestive pose than the robot was.

I... kinda want to see Fifty Shades of Prey now...

Other than that, that last spoof poster was probably the easiest to make come up with... with a crazy monkey-bunker named Sea Gull...

Oh man that Sloth trailer. Not gonna lie, I was cracking-up in the theater when I saw it. I was not expecting it to be that hilarious. I'm just glad I wasn't in public watching it on my phone or something; I would have turned more than a few heads.

We all know Disney is just like Microsoft infact they'd been doing the Odd-Even release schedule decades longer than M$. (by that to the uninitiated, I mean the rule of windowsXX releases). So since InsideOut was awful, that means that this will probably be good despite having every possible appearance of an overproduced 90 minute binge of Animal Puns intended for idiots who look at lolcat pictures all friggin day

These posters don't exactly instill confidence in that initial assessment though... +1 for the Binge of Puns theory.
But atleast I know I can still count on the Rule34 community to continue to get a few nuggets out of this interspecies spectacle

I didn't think much of it either, mainly thinking "What is this some kind of Madagascar clone?" but oh God that trailer, the joke-realization moment killed me.

By your logic, The Good Dinosaur must have been a "good" release?

Yah I'm aware, Sometimes they do it twice in a row like right now where there's no Windows9, and they just went straight from 8 to 10 and both of them are cancer to traditional users

A fine way to bend your "rule" until it fits your perceived reality.

Yes! That is the exact point where I just lost it. Up until then I was just amused; laughing, but able to keep it somewhat in control. And then that face... omg that face. I just couldn't hold it anymore.

I wouldn't call it "Bending" if you can count to 10.... it just means sometimes the "Good one" is skipped over because the studio cancels it in favor of something that's easier to produce, or will theoretically make them more money

It's still bending.

Also, just for fun, let's take a look at all the theatrically released Disney animated films in the last couple of years (not counting the ones where Disney only was the US distributor, like the Studio Ghibli movies) to see how well your "rule" actually works. In reverse order, starting with "Inside Out", labeled "good" or "bad" according to your "rule":

Inside Out - "bad"
Strange Magic - "good"
Big Hero 6 - "bad"
Planes: Fire & Rescue - "good"
The Pirate Fairy - "bad"
Frozen - "good"
Planes - "bad"
Monsters University - "good"
Wreck-It Ralph - "bad"
Frankenweenie - "good"
Secret of the Wings - "bad"
Brave - "good"
Winnie the Pooh - "bad"
Cars 2 - "good"

Yeah, I can see how that "rule" makes total sense?
