Mulder's Obsession Continues In First Minute of The X-Files Footage
Ahead of the show's return on January 24th, a sneak peak of the X-Files season premiere has been available online.
In just 12 days, The X-Files will be bringing a weekly dose of weirdness (or a serial serving of the supernatural. Whichever you prefer) back into our lives for the first time since 2002. To kick things off, Fox have released 60 seconds of glorious footage from the show's premiere episode via DoYouStillBelieve.com [http://www.doyoustillbelieve.com/]
Ok, to call it "glorious" might be a bit of an overstatement. Similar to teaser [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/165780-Check-Out-the-Daredevil-Season-2-Teaser-Trailer] that dropped last week, the first minute serves mainly as a recap of the previous seasons (understandably so, given how long it's been), but still, don't even try to act like Mulder's dry monotone isn't making you giggle just a little bit on the inside.
The plot of the first episode, as we already know, "will center on Mulder and Scully investigating Annet Mahendru's character, who is believed to be a 'possible alien abductee,' according to Joel McHale's character, a conservative talk show host who gives Mulder and Scully the tip to investigate her."
The X-Files returns for a six episode run on January 24th.
