Alright, now I'm confused. How would a soldier, who exists in her head, sing a song that she's never heard before and reference a movie that she's never seen before? Or am I to assume that she HAS seen the movie at least once and the song has left enough of an impression on her subconscious mind that it comes back up when a guy points a flamethrower at her?

Bewilderingly, my history circuits indicate that joke was previously made by Hitler. Literally.

I'd run.
This forum can turn ugly on a dime.
Just one pun in the wrong place and...

See?

I never did get why they always use Dexterity for Bow skills, the most important damage stat with a bow is draw weight so it would still be strength. It would also aid in accuracy since you could keeping the bow steady while fully drawn and rate of fire in that you could pull the heavy weight faster.

It was mostly a balancing factor to keep fighters from being better at bows than rangers, the supposed bow specialist. But then you start getting into feats like bow strength as well as fighter's greater feat count, and its really difficult for a ranger to be better at archer than a fighter.

The song is pretty damn awesome.
Getting an error, but I presume that's Hellfire from Hunchback of Notre Dame.

And it is awesome, the villains always seem to get the best songs.

Given the context of the song, can we now presume random mook has the hots for Erin?

Ya, I get it, but it's continued on into everything else, places where there is no weapon choice. Also, if you think about it, dexterity is a much more important stat in real life competitive sword fighting than strength. Axes, maces, ext I could see strength.

And what's the deal with the alacrity stat, am I right? [/Seinfeld]

Dude can bench press a tank. You don't want to know the kind of draw weight that bow's got.

To quote another Disney animated movie:
"You missed?! How could you miss? He was 3 feet in front of you!"

Depending on the system and edition, I'm fairly certain there are ways to shift it to strength. I know for a fact that the reverse can be done with some melee weapons, usually small ones like daggers.

I personally think it should be a combination, where the amount of each used depends on the type of weapon.

In DnD 3rd edition (and possibly later), Strength could be factored in with Composite bows. While Dexterity was still used to actually hit someone, a composite weapon had a strength rating that, if you could match it, would let you apply some of your strength as well. Or something like that. I normally play casters, so I'm a little rusty on the archery rules.

Speaking of Dnd, looks like SOMEBODY took Improved Power Shot.

You know, seeing this page, all I can say is that someone FINALLY knows where to put a god damned fucking quiver! Ever try pulling an arrow over your shoulder? It's slow and awkward. I approve!
