It sounds like the long-awaited sequel to M.U.L.E.

That game also had development of an uninhabited planet for profit by up to four simultaneous players who had to exchange resources - gained via specialization of plots of land - amongst one another via cut-throat trading.

Based on your description, that sounds accurate.
I must have missed that game way back whenever it was around, but this title sounds as if it's taking that concept and trying to be a spiritual successor if not one in name.

Anyway.
Sounds quite interesting.

I'll have to go give it a closer look.

I've had my eye on this game for a long while but have been put off by the mixed reviews on Steam. From the way your review sounds, though, it looks like something I might have to get eventually. I love me some business sims.
