I went back and looked through the older comics. It didn't shrink.

I would guess it's typically when she is put in a damsel-in-distress or...uh, obscure fetish scenario that breaks story immersion occasionally. I call it the Totally Spies Effect. But Rad just overpowers any sign of sexuality just by being Rad.

To be fair, part of it probably comes from Cory's artstyle and composition not really accommodating the saxiness much, probably on purpose. Erin's outfit is super revealing, but I get nothing from it and can only really focus on how cute her bow and genie leg poofies are.
Not a good or a bad thing, just a personal observation.
