Game-Breaking The Division Bug to be Fixed in Next Update

"We are looking to resolve this, it's one of our main priorities at the moment."

Community manager Natchai Stappers has addressed player concerns over a nasty game-breaking bug in Tom Clancy's The Division, which locks players out of their accounts after they craft a High-End backpack. On The Division's forums [http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/1418016-Connectivity-Infinite-Loading-Crafting], Stappers stated that the issue would be fixed as part of the April 12 update.

"We will be deploying a fix in update 1.1 on April 12th that should resolve instances of the infinite loading/backpack issue," Stappers wrote. "Due to this fix requiring a client patch, we cannot deploy it at an earlier date. We thank you for your patience."

Players are advised not to attach mods to items they are not using until the issue is resolved.

The Division released on March 8, and here [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/166781-The-Division-Nudges-Out-Assassins-Creed-For-Sales-Record#&gid=gallery_5938&pid=1].

Well over a week to fix an issue of not being able to log into a sudo-MMO? Most MMO companies would have that issue patched with 48hr MAX. Even the newbie ones. Ubisoft? Na, they're too good for fixing issues for customers on a B2P game where they've already got the customer's money.

That's nothing, you should have seen Koei-Tecmo, when they "fixed" the bug for Ninja Gaiden II. Not to mention downloading one of their challenge rooms would cause the game to crash if you reached a certain boss. I pretty much swore off the Ninja Gaiden games after that fiasco.
