Battleborn Bootcamp Trailer Preps You for Open Beta

The Battleborn open beta kicks off on PS4 tomorrow, and this new Bootcamp trailer will get you properly prepared.

If you're looking for a crash course on Battleborn before the open beta kicks off, this video has you covered. PS4 players can get into the beta tomorrow, with PC and Xbox One players joining in on April 13. All platforms are available for pre-loading right now, in case you want to get a head start.

The beta will give players acces to all three of the game's three progression systems, as well as two Story Mode episodes and two Competitive Multiplayer Modes. Although there are 25 total characters, only some will be available at first, with the others being unlocked through progression.

The PS4 beta begins at 10am PT/1pm ET tomorrow, and the PC and Xbox One betas at 10am PT/1pm ET on Wednesday, April 13. The open beta will end for all three platforms on April 18 at 7am PT/10am ET.

After that, you'll have to wait until the game launches on May 3 to get your fix. Want to make sure your PC is up to par? Here are the system requirements you need to know [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/167065-Battleborn-Info-and-PC-System-Requirements-Announced].

Pre-loaded and ready to play this beta starting tomorrow!

And this trailer is just awesome. However, I do think they should have released it a few weeks earlier or so.

Honestly, I've not seen enough about this game to pique my interest. To the best of my knowledge, it's a MOBA crossed with a FPS, and it has a single-player campaign. I'm really not sure what it has in order to make it stand out; Smite has more game modes, fodder for mythology nerds, AND the third-person camera. Battleborn has...what, exactly?

It's also by Gearbox...which means that it will either be alright or it will really, really suck.

They should've just made another Borderlands game and ironed out the wrinkles that were still present in the Pre-Sequel.

Well first person and third makes things pretty different, the gameplay is much faster with less emphasis on creep farming and more on the PvP aspect. There's also stuff like elevation difference and I think headshot are also a things. I think its better to look at it as a class based FPS with a heavy moba theme rather than a 1st person moba. The item system is way simpler and instead every level you take a skill (so no need to memorize build order or stuff like that). Also other stuff, like bullet travel much further than smite very limited range.

It doesn't have much to differentiate itself at glance value but I think it'll play very differently than smite.

I suggest you to watch TotalBiscuit video. The video I think is 50 minute long and explain EVERYTHING you need to know about the game.
The only major thing I can say for the game is have a solid Single Player Story.
