And while this episode will haunt me for a long time, I'll just as fondly remember it for the Brienne-Tormund moments.

Just last week I was thinking, "now we are off the GRR Martin rails all cleverness has gone", boy I was wrong.

But the close the door thing is so clever and yet so fucked up on multiple levels.

I'm actually really enjoying this season. I was starting to be fatigued by it all, especially since my favored character list has gone down to three (Almost two, without Jon. Dany goes back and forth between "Oh that was badass" and "FUCKING DO SOMETHING").
But I've actually been excited during this season. I really, really want to see what happens next. Finally.
