Hollywood And Games Summit Announces Keynote Speakers

Organizers of the 2007 Hollywood and Games Summit have announced the addition of horror author Clive Barker and 300 executive producer Thomas Tull as keynote speakers.

Best known for his Hellraiser movies, Barker is also familiar to gamers for the critically-acclaimed 2001 game Jericho [http://www.clivebarker.com/html/visions/bib/relat/misc/undying/undying2.htm], scheduled for release in the fall of 2007. His keynote address is expected to provide insight into his artistic process as he creates his game settings.

Tull's keynote speech will cover his content strategies for movies and games, and will also provide information regarding his latest venture, the recently-announced game company Brash Entertainment.

Other speakers include Jordan Mechner, writer and director on the Sony Pictures Digital Entertainment [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prince_of_Persia]. They will cover topics such as the simultaneous creation of games and movies, how Hollywood talent can be relevant in the "interactive medium," and the use of game engine technology in the film production process.

The 2007 Hollywood and Games Summit will take place on June 26 and 27 at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel. More information is available at the official site [http://www.hollywoodandgames.com/].
