LOST Game Lands on iTunes
The first licensed game, based on the LOST television show, its iTunes.
Mobile games publisher Gameloft announced that a port of the LOST videogame, based on the popular ABC show, is available at the iTunes Store for use with fifth generation iPods. LOST is the first television-licensed game offered on iTunes and is priced at $4.99.
Michel Guillemot, Gameloft's President, commented, "We think iPod owners are going to love being able to play LOST on the iPod. LOST has a huge following and we're excited to have developed this game which is a perfect complement to the show."
"Working together with Gameloft and the Lost producers, we have created a world class mobile game that is considered the gold standard of the industry. We are thrilled that two partners of ours will deliver the world of Lost in a new way to iTunes fans," added Bruce Gersh, Senior Vice President of Business Development at ABC Entertainment and ABC Studios.
