South Park's World of Warcraft Episode Wins Emmy

South Park earns an Emmy for its World of Warcraft-inspired animated episode.

The winners of the 59th Primetime Creative Arts Emmy awards have been released [http://www.emmys.com/awards/2007pt/nominations_crtv.php?action=search_db#1], and the South Park World of Warcraft-based episode, "Make Love, Not Warcraft" that aired on Comedy Central nearly a year ago has won the Emmy for "Outstanding Animated Program (for Programming Less Than One Hour)."

An excellent episode which deserves its awards. It was even better than the Star Trek/Wars episode made a while back.

Southpark's been my favorite satirical anime, completely shadowing the Simpsons.

It was a great episode, but I don't think it should've beaten out Avatar. Perhaps an award for comedy or comic writing, but for "creative arts"? Seems strange to me.
