Activision Announces Additional Guitar Hero III Tracks



Seventeen songs slide onto the Guitar Hero III soundtrack.

Activision and Harmonix have announced a fresh batch of songs for the latest installment in the Guitar Hero franchise set to release on October 28.

The new songs include:

You had me with Miss Murder.

And I feel inclined to point out that Harmonix is working on Rock Band right now, it's Neversoft that's doing Guitar Hero III.

Which I think is a good thing, since they've done pretty much nothing but Tony Hawk games for about 9 years now, and the series is still fresh and enjoyable, maybe not with every release, but most of them are pretty good games, which is something very few other series can boast.

Aside from Holiday in Cambodia, does it strike anyone else that they're just padding the list now, rather than actually seeking out quality songs that will serve the game? The list of previously announced tracks is pretty awesome but these new tracks really leave me cold.
