Seattle Mariners Fans Treated to Free Nintendo Network

Seattle Mariners fans who attend home games will be treated to free access to the Nintendo Fan Network this year.

Nintendo DS owners can bring their hand-held to Safeco Field, log on wirelessly to the network, and take a gander at baseball stats, highlights, team standings, chat and trivia.

The DS can also be used to stream the in-stadium live broadcast, and even order ballpark hotdogs and drinks to be delivered to one's seat.

The network debuted last year, when it was available for a free. The network can be downloaded at one of two kiosks or 15 download stations located throughout the stadium.

Wooo! I never even knew about this network! Now to bring my DS to a Mariner's game and test this baby out!

Oh, and lol at the quote "When it was available for a free."

The Mets NEED to get this up and running! If not in Shea, then at least next year in Citi Field!
