Castle Crashers Title Update In The Works

A title update is on the way for Castle Crashers, the highly-rated Xbox Live Arcade [http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/livearcadexbox360/?WT.svl=nav] game that's been plagued with bugs since its release.

A post on the GameFAQs [http://devblog.thebehemoth.com/?p=326] about recovering lost saved data.

"We don't have a specific time frame yet but we have been working on all known issues as soon as they appeared," the post said. "Our team has gone without rum and biscuits since we became aware of the issues and will continue to deprive our programming team of both sleeping and contact with family and friends (they don't really have friends)."

Castle Crashers, a hand-drawn, side-scrolling beat-em-up, was released on August 27 and is available via the Xbox Live Arcade for 1200 Microsoft Points. The game has drawn widespread praise, with review scores of 90 from sites including GameDaily [http://xboxlive.ign.com/articles/903/903047p1.html], but has also suffered from technical issues including difficulties finding online games and corrupted save files that cause the loss of player progress.
