Ubisoft Unveils Prince of Persia Penny Arcade Storybook

The new Penny Arcade [http://prince-of-persia.us.ubi.com/] treatment in the form of a 32-page online storybook, Prince of Persia: Stories and Secrets.

The story, a tale of the Prince's ally Elika and his foe the Hunter, began today and is slated to run until the game's release on December 2, with new pages added on Mondays and Fridays. Unlike most Penny Arcade works, the Prince of Persia storybook sports a unique visual style that's presumably a more accurate reflection of the game itself. How the story will unfold, on the other hand, is anyone's guess.

The Prince of Persia prequel is actually only the latest in a Fallout 3 [http://www.penny-arcade.com/presents/] based on Vault 77, populated by one man and a crate of puppets.

You can check out the new Prince of Persia Penny Arcade Storybook and follow the tale as it unfolds at Ubisoft's Prince of Persia [http://prince-of-persia.us.ubi.com/PA/html/index.php] website.

It's always nice to see the "narrative" of the world explored in different ways.

It leads to side/spinoff projects and also promotes different facets of "world" explored in the respective game. Entertaining and useful.

In my opinion, a smart move.

Also a ripoff of Fallout 3 which did the exact same thing on it's website, also with Penny Arcade. But W/E XD That doesn't mean it isn't a GOOD idea.

You know what's funny? I actually have a "Prince of Persia" comic sitting right next to me. Has nothing to do with any of the Prince's of Persia in any of the games. Still a good read, but weird. Eh. More PoP is more PoP.

It's coming out on the second of December... excellent. As for the story booklet, it does seem interesting.
