Alleged Wolfenstein Screens Leaked Online
A series of multiplayer environment screen shots alleged to be from Wolfenstein [http://www.ravensoft.com/] has been leaked onto the internet.
An unnamed "industry source" reported the Activision [http://s667.photobucket.com/albums/vv32/wolf1337_returns/] rep said, "The screens in question were not distributed by Activision or approved by Activision, and thus Activision cannot confirm their authenticity."
The screens are as sexy as you'd expect from an id/Raven game and have that unique blend of straight-up World War 2 and otherworldly weirdness that Wolfenstein is famous for. One other point of potential interest: Regalia in the screens feature the stylized "W" Wolfenstein logo rather than swastikas. A kinder, gentler Nazi Germany perhaps?
My vote? They're real. Wolfenstein, the sequel to id's 2001 FPS PlayStation 3 [http://www.idsoftware.com/games/wolfenstein/rtcw/] and PC, and is scheduled for release in summer 2009.
